Striped Scarf

I started on a new project yesterday and it is a striped scarf that it knit in 4 multi-color strips and then stiched together at different points on the scarf, with stiched knots. I took the inspiration for my new book. Scarf Style, by Pam Allen of Interweave Knits. I really liked the pattern but I wanted to change the needle size from a size #10 that the pattern called for to a size #8 . I cast on the same amount of stiches and I am making the strips shorter also. Because I live in GA we do not need that large of a scarf to stay warm down here. I will post a picture soon. I am using 100% recycled yarn in red, white, and blue.
